So as you can see from the headline,I am not using these for the intended purpose.About three years ago my vet recommended I supplement my urinary tract cat food with these pills. He said that the glucosamine blend has shown to have a prophylactic side effect of aiding in the prevention of urethra blockages. The food alone was not doing the trick...every winter at least one of my male cats would have a life threatening blockage.Since we have started using these-no blockages. No trips to the animal ER on a Sunday. Couldn't be happier about that.I have recommended the same thing to a friend with a male cat and he too has been happy with the results.Do the cats like the taste of these and take them freely? ....No.I have to crush them and mix them into their wet food portion every morning. It's well worth the extra effort to keep them healthy.My dog LOVES the flavor of these and literally scarfs them from my hand every day. I first bought these for my senior small dog when she developed problems standing and walking due to obvious joint pain in her hips and back. While fearing the worst I purchased this supplement for her. Within two weeks she was back up and walking. I have given them to her daily ever since. That was about 6 years ago. She is currently 16 years, 8 months old. ❤️This product is fantastic. My last dog, a miniature schnauzer, had arthritis really bad and could hardly lift her head or jump up on the furniture. After taking Arthrisoothe for 2 weeks, she was like a puppy again. I had to be careful not to run out or or would take a couple weeks to work again. My dog I have now is a Yorkie and I give it to her for arthritis in her front legs. Works great! All the other brands I tried upset their stomachs. This one they love!My 14 years old Pekingese has been on this product for about 5 years now and it works really well in conjunction with SOD & BoswelliaOur Chocolate Lab was in an accident at age 6 months and ended up with surgery and a pin in her leg. From time to time, we would have to use Rimadyl for pain & stiffness. During a post surgery recheck, a vet suggested we try Arthrisoothe as a daily supplement. We tried it, it worked and she has not had to take another Rimadyl.We did run out once....forgot to order in time....and she did limp around a bit. But once back on the Arthrisoothe, no more issues! Even when the weather gets damp. She just turned 6 this summer and is still going strong on the leg.I ordered this product and it got lost in transit. The seller was very friendly and re-sent the order right away. I have a choc lab that I am desperate to find a product that relieves his arthritis pain. This product does seem to help I think but he hates taking it. Our lab usually eats everything and anything but when these "chew tablets" are in his food he eats around them, making me hide them in a table scrap. All in all, I do think its working, its just work getting him to eat them, so I'll be keeping my eyes open for a different product.What a huge difference NaturVet ArthriSoothe has made in daily living of my 10 year old Dog!Before I found this product, I used to give my dog 1/2 81mg aspirin which I guess was ok. I needed to find something that would be more helpful. I asked my Vet if there was anything I could use. He told me about Glucosamine & Chondrotin. I did a little research and found NaturVet.Used regularly for my 4 year old lab with hind end issues. Seems to help him a lot!
