I ordered this product just a little over a year ago and it is still going strong.About the product, it does what it says, it adheres to your phone via a sticky adhesive. There is a thin plastic protector on the back that you may have difficulty pulling off, so you may need some tweezers to grab it.Things to take into considerationYou may have to reposition your popsocket multiple times before finding a comfortable position. If you have to reposition your popsocket, I highly recommend that you pull from the bottom where the adhesive is and not from the top where your design is or you run the risk of damaging your popsocket. Also a little water and air drying will help revive your adhesive and it wouldn't hurt to clean the area of your device you plan to put your popsocket either to help it stick.At first I found I did not like the pop socket, but over time I found it to be more comfortable. I found it was more comfortable without my case when I had it paired with my galaxy s4, but of course the case serves an important purpose at that would be a no go for many. I'd say for myself, it took maybe a week to get used to, but now I love it especially since I upgraded to a larger phone.If you you have larger hands the socket may not expand enough to your liking.If you are buying for a tablet, you may have to use two Popsockets. I tried one with my 1st gen kindle and it held it up, but when I tried using the socket with my galaxy tab 3, the tablet was too tall and too heavy for just the one pop socket.The popsocket will stick to many cases, but be aware if the back of the case has any indentions, the pop socket may not stick as well because there is less surface area to adhere to.Totally cute. Looks just like the picture. I have arthritis in my hands so holding my cell phone isn’t always easy. I drop it often. I ordered two PopSockets so that I could have one at the top, and one at the bottom of my phone. I found that is easier on my hands when they are hurting. It was a great idea, and I had it that way for about two weeks. Then my sister came for Christmas... she saw my PopSockets and asked if she could have this one. She is going through chemotherapy and also has a hard time holding onto things. So of course I gave it to her. She loves it as well. She said it makes using her phone so much easier.P.S. if you are going to get one of these make sure you spend the extra money and buy the PopSocket brand. They are made out of stronger plastic. And if you remove the popsocket from any surface all you have to do to get it to be sticky again is run it under warm water with a little dish soap, let it dry(about 5 seconds), and viola it’s sticky again!!!I just upgraded to the iPhone 8 Plus so was told I’d “need” a PopSocket. I never liked the looks of them but after finding this design, I got very excited! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I also purcharsed a silicone case and for some reason, it would not stick to my case at all. I was about to contact the manufacturer to return it but I really do love the design so took it to work with me and used a caulk gun to glue it to my case lol now that I know it’ll never come off.. I absolutely love it! I wasn’t hesitant about doing this because by the time I want a new case, I’m sure I’ll also be wanting a new PopSocket :) so the only frustrating part is that it wouldn’t stick but now that it does since I used silicone to glue it to my case, I really do absolutely love it and would recommend. The design is very clear and detailed.. my picture doesn’t do it justiceNeeds better adhesion.I have sooooo loved my pop sockets previously... My first one lasted 2 years and was amazing at all the things it claimed to do. I got a new phone and ordered one because I had such a great experience with the first one. The second one lasted about 9 months... The top flat piece with the picture kept popping off. But I had had such a great experience with the first one that I ordered another. I cleaned my phone case per the instructions and was so happy to have a new one. Dagnaabbit... Only 3 days until the adhesive gave out... I'm so disappointed ?I bought this Pop Socket because I needed an easier way to hold my phone and because sharks are my favorite animal. :) Made the mistake of buying a knockoff version once and will never do that again. This pop socket was very easy to peel and stick exactly where I wanted it on my phone case. The adhesion hasn't worn off and doesn't move or slide around. The socket is very sturdy even after being used multiple times per day for over 1 year, and hasn't become loose like the cheap versions. Very comfy to hold for long periods of time or works great as a stand too.I thought these were so strange when they first came out but once I had one, I realized how much better it was.Then after constant fidgeting and abusing it, it finally broke. I mean I play with it ALL The time like a fidget gadget, so it held up pretty well imo. I tried to live without it but I couldn't stand my phone up to watch a video and taking selfies felt less secure. Even Just holding my phone felt scary.Finally I ordered this astronaut cat on amazon again and my phone is back to normal!WORD TO THE WISE - Put a STRONG case protector on iPhone before this. I had it on a flimsy jelly case and I think the extra pressure of the popsocket on the middle of the phone in my purse and in my pocket actually BENT my phone. I mean all iPhones tend to bend anyway but the popsocket couldn't have helped...I used this shark popsocket for over 2 years, it stuck perfectly to my iPhone 8 plus case through all seasons and weather. I never did try to remove and reposition it, so I can't say if it's as good for that purpose, but it stuck to my (smooth, clear plastic) case well. The shark art never wore off, and I confidently dangled my expensive phone from tall buildings and mountains for those tremendously important selfies and never dropped it thanks to this doohickey.A little while ago, I dropped my phone something fierce and the popsocket, alas, shattered. I do not blame the socket, I blame my own clumsiness. These things are wonderful for the clunky large iPhone8 Plus, and I will be repurchasing a new one soon.Cela fait quelques mois que j'utilise ce support et il est tout simplement génial. D'une part il est trés joli et ne prends pas de place.Coté fixation, pour le moment je n'ai aucun problème. Il se colle et se décolle à volonté.Il faut néanmoins le nettoyer de temps en temps pour qu'il ré-adhère bien.Attention ! Ceci est une aide pour tenir son téléphone et qu'il ne pése pas trop sur les doigts. Par contre une fois posé sur le téléphone il ne faut pas s'amuser à le décoller trop souvent. Il tient très bien et ne laisse pas de trace. Je recommande ce produit que ce soit pour le tenir en main ou pour le poser et regarder une vidéo. Très léger.A great discovery for me! Although it can seem a bit costly, after using it is obvious the pop socket is worth the money as it is very durable and even the printing does not come off or get scratches easily.I ruined two phones by dropping them due to not being able to get a firm grip of them while walking a lot in a hurry and this pop socket solved my problem. I am much more confident while using my precious phone on the go or while laying in bed to not drop the phone which was happening to me a lot.A friend of mine recommended it to me, and I was reluctant at the beginning, thinking it will be not comfortable to have it sticking out of the phone but it turned out now I want to buy another one for the other phone.Before the purchase, I was considering buying a cheaper similar product but after reading reviews I went for the original one. I do not regret, I am using it for a few months now and I happened to reapply it a few times between two phones (even though it is not recommended to do that) and it still works perfectly and does not come off. I really like the printing too.After looking at these on Amazon and Youtube for quite a while, I finally decided to buy one. The cat design I bought was one of the more expensive ones at £16. It is made of very cheap plastic and is tiny in size. There is no way on this earth it is worth £16. I am incredibly disappointed and will not be taking another look at this product. Complete and utter waste of money. If I could have given 0 stars I definitely would have.
