I have extremly dry African American hair. At times I have oiled my hair 2 - 3x a day. It still was dry and brittle, rather in natural or relaxed state. I have even been to a dermologist. I have tried so many products. I have tried almost everything at the average beauty supply and more. I have tried; Isoplus, Africa's best, african pride, african royale, black and beautiful, botanicals, cantu, clariol, creme of nature, dark and lovely, doo gro, dr. miracles, elasta qp, hawaiian silky, hydroveil, infusium, paul mitchell, lustrasilk, mizani, optium, organic root stimulator, pantene, queen helen, softsheen carson, tcb, triple gro, wave noveau, etc. all in a quest to gain moisure !! Carol's Daughter was great but my hair soaked it up so fast I would never have money at their prices. These are not cheap however the bottles are like 2 liters and you only need a little. I tried all the things in the combo last night and the next day my hair was shiny, soft, and lays nicely. I wear my hair super short and relaxed by the way. I let the wheat germ treatment and conditioner sit in my hair for 15 minutes each. Then I used pure olive oil(from the grocery store) and mix it in a bottle with the hair regenerator for my daily scalp moisure. I wrapped my hair wand the next morning no gel, oil sheen, anything added, I put a few curls in. I did not go thru and straighten my hair like I usually do. But the texture looked so good I did not even want to waste my time. This are my new staples for my hair along with my hair vitamins which I got from growafrohair. Hair was faded last March, now I have almost 5 inches, with more moisure it should grow more. Now, my new quest is a great relaxer! But, I might try Salerm's if I can find it on the net in a smaller quantity.
